HE Loves Us

We often hear people asking questions like:
"If there really is a God & He really does love us,
then why does He allow things like __________ to happen?
Here is something to ponder...

The Shepherd

"Imagine a shepherd tending to his flock.

If he were to run after every sheep that strayed only a slight amount
and always stayed nearby, he would very quickly run out of energy.

Instead, he stands in one place and calls to these wandering sheep
or throws something in their direction to bring them closer.

But if one of his flock falls into a deep pit
or strays so far that it cannot return on its own,
then the shepherd must go and bring it back."

Perhaps only when a person recognizes that he or she
has strayed too far to get back on their own,
is that person truly READY to repent
and be 'found' by the Shepherd.
